Organizing Printables for bloggers!

Here are some Printables I’ve made to help you stay organized!  I know working at home I HAVE to write things down.  I always have so many ideas floating around in my head that I needed a list that would help me organize those ideas. I searched and searched for lists that would work for me but none of the printables I came across was really what I was looking for.  Now,  my printables aren’t very fancy like some of the ones I have seen on Pinterest but they are very helpful.  I made them myself in Microsoft Word.   They are simple, but they help me get things accomplished every day and I hope they will help you as well.  I personally have a binder that I keep all of my work at home stuff in that has page protectors and tabs for organization.  I will post a tutorial soon on how to make your own WAH binder with suggestions and printables  to fill it with.  I will also add more printables as I develop them so be sure to check back!  🙂

Work At Home Selling Crafts!

There are a ton of ways to make money from home if you are crafty! Do you make paper crafts, sew, crochet, make jewelry or even hair bows? You can start your own online store with websites such as Etsy or Tophatter and sell your own hand-made crafts. Both of these sites allow you to pay a small fee to list your hand-made items. Each site takes a small commission once your item sells. You get to set your own prices on your items and if people like what your selling, you can become a top seller on each site. Ebay is also good for selling crafts. You could also make your own website to sell your items and get full profits. Once you have a website or an online store up and running and have some inventory, you can advertise on social media sites like Pinterest or Facebook. You can also start a blog (on sites like WordPress or Blogger) and write DIY tutorials to build a following.  Link your website or online store to your blog to drive traffic and make sales. Depending on the type of craft you make and what you can sell it for, you could make a nice part-time income doing this. 

Another crafty way to make money from home is start your own Scrap booking business. Everyone loves the look and feel of a hand-made scrapbook but most people don’t have the time to make them.  Make a website with a portfolio to show people what you can do and offer to hand-make them a scrapbook.  Once you get a good portfolio of your scrapbooks going you can advertise on social media. You can even do tutorials either with a blog or out of your home and show people how to do their own scrapbooks.  You can then sell them the scrapbooking materials.  If you have a bunch of scrapbooking materials you can sell them on Etsy as well.  This is a fun way to make some money if you have the time and patience.

Work At Home as a Photographer!

Are you a great photographer??  You can turn your passion for photography into your own business and run it out of your home. If you have a spare room in your house you could make your own studio. You can even use your back yard or garden for photo shoots.  Ask friends and family to do free photo shoots with you to gain field experience. Get some business cards to pass around. You can market an online portfolio on social media sites and build your own website.  You can also get paid to take stock photo’s and upload them to certain websites. There are a few different sites that you can use.  All of the websites are pretty user friendly, You basically just upload your stock photos and wait for someone to buy them. While you can’t make a living off of your profits from these websites, they help build your online profile and it gets your name out there! Get paid to Blog!

Do people trust you and your opinions? Do you have the gift of gab? You can become a blogger and work at home.  There are tons of people making legitimate money from their blogs.  You can set up your own free blog on websites like Blogger and WordPress.  There are many different ways you can make money from blogging.  Some people use their blogs to review products and companies pay them to do so.  Some people use their blogs to market their own products and make money by selling them online.  Some people just blog for personal reasons and gain an audience and use things like Google Ads or affiliate programs to make money from their blogs. Blogging is a great way to make money at home.  It does take some time to build good content for your blog and it also takes time to spread the word and get people interested in what you have to say.  It most defiantly wont happen overnight but once you gain a good audience and continue marketing yourself, you can generate a part-time income.  I have also found some companies who will pay you to blog once your blog qualifies with their guidelines.  Here’s a few:

1. PayU2blog.com- They bring businesses and bloggers together.  They offer bloggers the opportunity to blog about a product or company who will in turn pay you.  Pay is every two weeks via PayPal.

4. Business2bloggers.com– This company offers bloggers to review businesses on their blogs. Pays per blog post via PayPal.

5. Linkfromblog- This company also connects bloggers to advertisers.  You can choose your own price for a paid blog review.

6. PayPerPost.com– PayPerPost advertisers will pay you for your opinion on various topics.

Day 5 Jamberry Nails review

Today is day 5 with my Jamberry Nails on!  I have to start off by saying that I am in love with these nails! The Jamberry Nail held up way better than my polish as you can see.  I was pretty busy this week and did a lot of projects around the house.  I moved my kids bedrooms around and organized my garage which caused a lot of dings and chips on my painted nails but it didn’t phase the Jamberry Nail.  My family had a cook-out this week and I played 3 rounds of Horseshoes (and I beat the guys while I was at it 😉 which also didn’t bother the wrapped nail but it faded and chipped the painted nails. I should also mention the pink polish is a more expensive polish and in 5 days its already chipping, cracking and fading. I spend a LOT of time painting and making designs on my nails and the Jamberry Nails have the professional look everyone wants but the ability to let anyone apply them. The wraps were so easy to apply and after 5 days of comparing the wrap to polish I want to be a Jamberry Consultant so I can have these wraps on all the time! 5 day Jamberry Nails challenge

I’m so excited to share not only this product but this work at home opportunity with all of you! I’ve been talking with Melissa who sells Jamberry Nails and I offered to do the 5 day Jamberry Nail Challenge here on my blog to show how awesome their products are!  The 5 day challenge is simple.  She sent me a sample wrap that I cut in half and applied to one finger on each hand.  I then painted the rest of my nails with my expensive nail polish.  This is a picture of my nails on day one.  I will take another picture on day 5 so you can see the results!

Applying the wrap the my nail was very simple.  She sent me detailed instructions on how to apply it.

*First gather your “tools” You will need alcohol wipes, a cuticle pusher, your Jamberry Nails set and a blow dryer.

*You start by taking your old nail polish off.

*Then you push back your cuticles.  I have a nice cuticle remover cream that I got for Christmas in a nail kit ( yes, I do my nails so much my mom bought me a really nice 75 piece nail kit for Christmas last year 🙂 So I used that and a cuticle pusher to push them back.

*Once I was done with pushing back all my cuticles I used an alcohol wipe that she sent me to clean all my nails.

*Then you match up your nails and the wraps and see what nail works best with each wrap.  I wanted to accent my ring finger so I cut my strip in half to put it on both ring fingers.

*You then peel off the wrap from the plastic and set it on your finger nail.  Dont press down yet!

*Grab your blow dryer and heat up the wrap (for 3-5 seconds) to make it soft and flexible.

*Then press the wrap onto your nail.  Use your cuticle pusher to seal the wrap around your cuticle area and smooth the wrap to your nail.

*Trim the top excess with scissors and file it down to meet your nail.

*Once everything is smooth and perfect hit the nail with the blow dryer again for another few seconds to seal and bond the wrap to your nail.

*That’s it!!  Its a very simple process and the wraps are super cute!
